About us
OUR HISTORY
Hosteria 700 is located in a charming corner of Piazza Gallina, just 300 metres from Cremona Cathedral. Housed in the historical palace of the Barbò family, which belonged to the Marquise Donna Marietta, known as 'La Bodora', it preserves intact the charm of the past. Built in 1837 by architect Carlo Visioli, the building is embellished with decorations by Cremonese painters Giovanni Motta and Gallo Gallina, with sumptuous rooms enriched by mirrors in neo-baroque style. The elegant and cosy atmosphere makes every lunch and dinner a unique experience, where history, flavours and aromas are harmoniously intertwined.
